Dr. Randolph Stone DC, DO, NP  found that after treating clients some did not maintain health . To answer this question as to what is missing Dr Stone traveled to the East visiting India, China and Eastern Europe to explore the older forms of healing that have been practiced for thousands of years. Dr Stone discovered that the missing concept in western healthcare is energy.  After several trips to explore the concepts of energy medicine Dr Stone put together a a body of work he called Polarity. Dr Stones Polarity is a massive amount of ancient healing knowledge that looks at the body as an energetic being of light and how we can facilitate the flow of light through our bodies. Dr Stone discoverd that we have energy waves that are oriented to neutral, negative and positive  and operate accordingly to natural flows of energy from the natural world. The energy comes to us and is stepped down from the head through to the lower body through the spine in a matrix of energy patterns and waves the ancients called the Staff of Hermes or Caduceus. The Caduceus is a colume of light that channels light in waves through energy centers alone the caduceus sometimes called chakras. Each chakra represents a stepped down of energy vibraion  that is appropriate for each organ system beginning with the head, then throat,follwed by the heart and lungs then stomach and digestive organs followed by creative and elimination organs. Each region or chakra is a different energy center or energetic frequency. The chakra centers are neutral, the lower regions are negative and upper region are positive. Connecting these regions allows the energy to magnetically flow through each region of the body. As the magnetic forces move through the body the boney structure alignment becomes balanced and vitality in the body becomes deeper and more relaxed. As the structure comes into alignment with the underlying original pattern of the universal intention the body hopefully orients to calm balance and greater health with orientation to a higher level of purpose. This body of work helps the body hold the alignment so health can be maintained over longer periods of time and greater health can be obtained improving and restoring better health and well being.
